The World Health Organisation have finally changed their approach to reporting Coranvirus cases today. All laboratory cases and clinically diagnosed cases are from today reported together as ‘Confirmed Cases’. While the technical change is welcome to simplify the reporting the underlying data underpinning the W.H.O. reports is still completely unreliable.
Consistent examination of the W.H.O. reporting reveals that almost no testing outside the Hubei province is being reported to the W.H.O leadership. For example let’s take a look at the coronavirus statistics just released for today February 17th.
Take Guangdong province with a total population of 11.3 million people. According to the W.H.O. there were only 6 confirmed cases of coronavirus today. The above chart indicates that 2 people died of coronavirus in Guangdong today, which doubles the total number of people that have died of coranavirus in the province since the start of the outbreak and recorded statistics. Are we really expected to believe only 4 people have died from the virus since mid January and that half of them died today?
The GNEWS organisation and Miles Guo are reporting that despite huge shortages medical supplies and medicines in Wuhan, one of the largest hospitals in Wuhan has taken delivery of two brand new waste and animal incineration units in the last 24 hours. Guo claims that the majority of the dead are being cremated without being properly recorded in official statistics as either having had the virus or following on from this in the official death figures.
